This is actually a "thank you" highlight - Connor has been with our team since mid-August, and will be leaving mid-October due to unforeseen circumstances with the Bend JVCNW cohort. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and wish him the best on his journey with JVCNW! ❤️
Connor came to Thrive through the Jesuit Volunteer Northwest/Americorps program, and is from eastern Massachusetts. This is his first year in the Pacific Northwest and he's very excited to be here. He's passionate about basketball (go Celtics!) and some of his hobbies include writing music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Connor was excited to work with Thrive after hearing about our mission and the communities we serve. For the past two months he has become part of our team and we've really loved getting to know him. He's learned a ton about our community and we are so sad to see him go. We truly hope with this move with JVCNW he still can get the year of service he seeks at another location with a great group of other JVCNW members. Thank you Connor for your commitment to Thrive!
One of Connor's favorite quotes:
"It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do little - do what you can." - Sydney Smith
