For this month’s client highlight, we spoke with Sara to learn more about her and her experience working with Thrive. Sara moved to Central Oregon when she was 10 years old. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her children and engaging in arts and crafts.
Sara was referred to Thrive when she and her family were experiencing some personal
challenges. During this time, she realized that she needed to move out of her apartment for the well-being of her family. Sara has been consistently working with Britta. When asked about her experience with Thrive Central Oregon, Sara said, “Everyone that I worked with was absolutely
amazing. They were real people. I think Britta is the one that I’ve worked with the longest. I still reach out to her occasionally to talk with her and ask for advice. She is amazing.”
Sara talked about how her children can now enjoy roller skating and playing outside. “I feel like a thousand pounds was lifted off of me,” she said. When asked if she had any advice for others, she said, “Don’t be ashamed to ask for help.”
One quote that Sara wanted to share with the community is:
