The Oregon Emergency Rental Assistance Program (OERAP) assistance is now closed, but if you have a pending application for past-due assistance, please go to the OERAP website and use the "chat" function to check in with a representative.
Thrive has assistance available through a new grant from PacificSource!
Thank you to PacificSource for providing us with flexible funding to support our community in the ways households need it most! Priority for this assistance is to keep people across Central Oregon housed. Neighbor Impact has an open waiting list for rental and deposit assistance, as well as assistance for TANF recipients and Veteran.

Under Oregon’s Safe Harbor Law, tenants who apply for rental assistance are protected from eviction while their application is being processed. This law will continue to be in effect up until September 30, 2022.

Did you apply for OERAP, but you're unsure of the status of your application? Have you not heard back?
You can check the status by calling OERAP, or by logging into your online portal. Please call regularly (weekly) to make sure your application is being processed and OERAP has everything they need.

Why if my application status says "Action Pending"?
Your applicaiton status may say "action pending" because you still need to upload documents. You must upload or send in all required documents in order for your applicaiton to be processed. Please reach out to OERAP or log in to your online portal to find out what you need to do.

Tips for applying:
Make sure you have all the necessary documents ready before you start your application. You will need to upload them at the end of the application (see document check-list after clicking Tenants apply today).
Applicants must have been financially impacted by COVID-19 in order to receive assistance. Be sure to express how you have been impacted by the pandemic when answering the multiple choice questions (reduction in work hours; loss of employment; incurred expenses for masks, supplies, etc.)
Save your username and password so that you can log back in and check your status.
OERAP is a state program with thousands of applicants. It is sometimes necessary that the applicant be proactive in reaching out to the OERAP office to ensure they have all the needed documents and information.
